Our Mission
The Twister's mission is to provide each child with opportunities for social and physical development in an atmosphere of exceptional sportsmanship by providing a well-managed program that is professionally staffed by the City of Cartersville Parks and Recreational Department and supported by parents through the Cartersville Twister Booster Club.
Coaches
Our team of experienced coaches is dedicated to providing an award-winning experience to our athletes We take the time to nurture strengths, train up skills, and provide the most effective opportunities ensuring your gymnast gets the successful outcome they deserve. We're proud that so many of our gymnasts have excelled in the sport to go on to collegiate-level gymnastics with earned scholarships.
Facility
Our competitive facility is among the best in the state. The Cartersville Gymnastics Center was the Pre-Olympic training site for the 1996 Men’s Olympic Gymnastics Team from Belarus. Our facility benefited from a grant from the Governor’s office in preparation for the Olympic Games. Our boys and girls continue the tradition of success in the competitive arena.
